The 1966 Italian spaghetti western starring film legend Clint Eastwood has long been known as one of the greatest westerns of all time. Setting it apart from the westerns preceding it, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly replaced the all good, heroic cowboy with blended, rounded, antiheroes. That theme remains popular in movies today. The english dubbing may distract some modern viewers, but its stylistic gunfight and innovative cinematography are still studied in film schools today.
